Starting to Warm Up!
After several days of really cold weather, things are starting to warm up in Benson, AZ. Because of its 4,200' elevation, we knew Benson would be cooler than, say, Phoenix or Tucson. But let me tell you, 16 degrees is cooler, or should I say colder, than we would like.
Bill and I found ourselves having conversations like, "maybe next year we'll go back to Florida, or try southern Texas or southern California." But now that we are back in the 70s and can get outside and play, we are feeling much better.
The past week we have enjoyed spending time with Jerry and Kim of Creating the Life. We first met about a year ago, when they were in the planning stages of going fulltime. They have now been on the road since September, and it is great to see how they are doing. We've got some hiking planned next week that I am really looking forward to. Jerry and Kim will also be working in Yellowstone this summer, and we can't wait to introduce them to our summer home.
Speaking of Yellowstone, in less than three months, we'll be there! Can't wait!

WHOA - 16. You guys are definitely troopers. I'm whining at mid 40's. Sounds like you've spread the Yellowstone Fever. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThey definitely have hooked us :)! We can't wait to see Yellowstone with our own eyes.
ReplyDeleteWe too, are looking forward to hiking tomorrow.
I do believe that Florida is the place to be this winter.
