I am writing this post from Lazy Days RV Park in Tucson, AZ. We have an 8:00 appointment tomorrow morning at LaMesa RV to get the brakes checked and wheel bearings repacked on the fifth wheel. So, after church today, we packed up the 5er and headed to Tucson. LaMesa is just across the street from Lazy Days, so staying the night here is very convenient.
Are you like me? I am always so relieved when the slides come in with no issues, especially after sitting for several months. We made it to Tucson with no issues, and after getting set up we headed to Costco and the grocery store. It was nice knowing we didn't have to drive back to Benson after a few hours of power shopping.
After the service is completed tomorrow, we can check that off of our to-do list, and we are one step closer to heading out. Next on the list is completing my work commitment at Kartchner Caverns State Park on March 16.
Our planned departure date is March 30. But before we leave, we will do a quick visit to Georgia. If you recall, my nephew recently returned from a 9-month deployment to Afghanistan. My sister, his mother, is planning a "March Madness Christmas" on March 23, and everyone will be there.
As you can see, we have lots going on before we head out at the end of the month. But it's all good!
Sounds like you are taking care of business before heading out for great times
